With the mission of providing quality education, VIMS is fully equipped with Modern infrastructure. To make learning enjoyable, modern facilities are provided within the campus so that the practical knowledge along with the theoretical concepts is well understood by the students.
Our teaching labs
VIMS training is hands-on: students learn on the same equipment they will use in hospitals and diagnostic labs, not just from a textbook.
Medical laboratory
Our pathology and diagnostics lab is built for real clinical work — microscopes, a centrifuge, an incubator and hot-air oven, a haematology (CBC) analyser, a semi-automated chemistry analyser, an ELISA reader and photo colorimeter, alongside the glassware, haemometers and haematology stands students handle every day.
Operation theatre
The operation-theatre training suite mirrors a live theatre — a hydraulic OT table and lights, anaesthesia and suction machines, electrocautery, a ventilator and CPAP, patient cardiac monitors, a laparoscopic tower, and a full set of surgical instruments and airway equipment — so students practise theatre protocol before their hospital postings.
All the classrooms are well ventilated and spacious. Advanced Laboratories are also there within the campus.

VIMS Laboratories are one-of-a-kind labs with the modern setup for practical experiments. All the laboratories at VIMS meet the safety standards and have modern equipment.
The laboratories are brightly lit and quite spacious allowing the students to conduct experiments hassle-free. Required chemicals and apparatus are also provided by the institute so that the students obtain each and everything needed for the practical sessions.
