Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern admission to and study at Viraj Institute of Medical Science (“VIMS”, “the Institute”), Agamkuan Main Road, Chhoti Pahari, Patna 800007, Bihar — managed by Green Life Foundation, registered under the Bihar Educational Trust Act. By submitting an enquiry or admission form, reserving a seat, or paying any fee, you accept these terms.

01 Admission Terms

• Admission is direct — there is no entrance examination. Applications are decided within 5 working days of document verification.
• Eligibility is programme-specific and is stated on the respective programme and admission pages. Meeting the eligibility criteria of the affiliating university is mandatory; the Institute cannot relax university-prescribed eligibility.
• Admission is provisional until all original documents are verified and the required fees are received. Applicants must present original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
• Any admission obtained on the basis of false, forged, or incomplete information or documents will be cancelled at any stage, without refund of fees paid.
• Non-Attending (flexible) mode is available only to working healthcare staff and requires valid proof of current healthcare employment.

02 Seat Reservation & Confirmation of Admission

• A seat may be reserved in advance by paying token money, which is adjusted against the fees due at admission.
• Admission is confirmed only after the Admission Form fee, the first-semester tuition fee, and the Registration fee are paid in full.
• Reserved seats not confirmed within the time communicated by the admission office may be released without further notice.

03 Fees & Payment

• All fees must be paid by UPI, bank transfer, or demand draft to the official VIMS account only. Bank details are published on the Bank Account Details page. Do not pay any individual or unofficial account; the Institute is not responsible for payments made to unauthorised accounts.
• The Institute does not offer, arrange, or accept any loan, credit-card, or third-party financing facility. Fees are payable directly by the student or guardian.
• Tuition may be paid in convenient installments across the programme on written request, subject to approval by the admission office.
• One-time charges (Admission Form, Registration, Kit) and the per-semester Examination fee are payable in addition to tuition, as per the published fee schedule.
• Degree and Migration Certificate fees are charged separately by the affiliating university and are paid directly to it, as per its prevailing norms.
• All fees are for the current session and are subject to revision by the Institute and/or the affiliating university.

04 Refund Policy

• Withdrawal, absence, discontinuation, or cancellation of admission for any reason — including cancellation due to false or incomplete documents, non-payment, or disciplinary action — does not create any right to refund.

05 Attendance, Examinations & Certification

• Students must comply with the attendance, coursework, clinical-posting, and examination requirements applicable to their programme and study mode (Attending or Non-Attending).
• Examinations, evaluation, and the award of degrees, diplomas, and certificates are conducted as per the rules of the affiliating university. The university’s decision on results and certification is final.
• Non-payment of dues may result in withholding of examination admission, results, or certificates until dues are cleared.

06 Conduct & Discipline

• Students must abide by the Institute’s rules, including the Anti-Ragging Policy. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and is punishable under law.
• The Disciplinary Committee may take action, up to and including expulsion, for misconduct, indiscipline, or violation of Institute or university rules. Expulsion on disciplinary grounds does not entitle the student to any refund.
• Students are responsible for Institute property issued to them and may be charged for loss or damage.

07 Placement Assistance

• The Institute provides placement assistance through its placement cell and partner network. Placement support is provided, not guaranteed — specific placement depends on the student’s discipline, performance, and internship.
• Any salary figures published by the Institute are indicative industry references, not a promise or guarantee of employment or earnings.

08 Communication Consent

• By submitting an enquiry or admission form, or by calling our toll-free number, you consent to being contacted by VIMS on the phone number and email you provide — by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, and email — regarding admissions, counselling, and related services.
• You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to admission@vimscollege.com.

09 Privacy

• Personal information submitted through our forms or phone lines is used to process your enquiry and admission and to communicate with you. It is not sold to third parties.
• Our website uses cookies and analytics tools to improve the site and measure the effectiveness of our outreach.

10 Website Content & Intellectual Property

• All content on vimscollege.com — text, images, logos, and documents — is the property of Viraj Institute of Medical Science / Green Life Foundation unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without written permission.
• Programme, fee, and eligibility information on this website is provided in good faith and may be revised. In case of any discrepancy, the official records of the Institute and the affiliating university prevail.

11 Changes to These Terms

• The Institute may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page applies to the current admission session. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar.
